Food Events to Discover in Québec City This September

September is also a delicious time to discover Québec City. Creative burgers, classic poutine, local beer and regional products fill the calendar, offering plenty of opportunities to discover new flavours and local favourites during your stay at Maison du Fort.

The month begins with Le Burger Week, taking place September 1 to 7, 2026 at participating restaurants throughout Québec City. For one week, chefs get creative with their own unique take on the classic burger. From September 4 to 6, Le Grand PoutineFest de Québec celebrates one of Québec’s most iconic dishes in a festive atmosphere at Galeries de la Capitale.

For a delicious day trip outside the city, Route Arts et Saveurs de Portneuf, held September 19 and 20, invites visitors to discover the region’s local producers, artisans and flavours.
